Espresso - A Quick Hit of Information

There's nothing quite like the sensation of sipping on a hot, velvety coffee in a little cafe buried somewhere I'm the depths of the world.
The mug warms your hands, melting through your insides...
That smoothe classic coffee aroma whiffs through the air and rolls over your tongue...
In case you haven't guessed, I love coffee. It's one of life's little pleasures.
I love many things in life, my family, friends, traveling, food, and of course coffee.
It's my dads fault really. He started drinking cappuccinos (my coffee of choice) and the caffeine grabbed me by its smoothe, addictive hands. So from then on, it's been a great tradition and binding session for my dad and I to talk and hang out over a lovely coffee.
Three months ago I finished high school, packed my bags, and jetted half way across the world to London, to start off my gap year and the experience of a lifetime.
Briefly, I've been to Shanghai, London, Austria, Amsterdam, Paris, Scotland and Ireland, along the way meeting incredible people and seeing amazing sights, all with my life companion, coffee.
So that brings me to today, I'm currently living in London, starting a job next week. I live with amazing people and cannot believe I've been away from home for three months already. I've been through some interesting experiences, so I thought I would begin this blog in relation to my coffee escapades.
To start me off, yesterday I had a lovely cappuccino with my two housemates whilst shopping for my work uniform. We also had cupcakes with beautiful decorations and frosting! It was such a great girly sesh with the girls, making me feel like I'm actually living here in London. It's such a great feeling, feeling like I actually belong to a home, a family of friends and a community, which is something you don't get whilst backpacking and staying in hostels.
This past week has been a whirlwind, moving into a house, finding a job and making new friends, like the lovely rush you get from a nice cup of coffee.
